The film was shot with a specific visual aesthetic in mind and that comes through in this Ultra HD presentation. This is essentially a colorful film and its palate of sepia tones and variants of blue/red benefited from UHD's wider color gamut. Resolution is primarily stable/solid over the course of the presentation. The film has a variety of sequences that make use of close-up camera angles that show off the rendering of detail. The interior sets featured in the film have appreciable depth which has an enriching, and eye-catching aesthetic. There’s No Enemy Like the Past: Donnie and Dame– A history of the character played by Jonathan Majors is profiled. Whatever reservations I have regarding Creed III's visual style don't extend to its excellent Dolby Atmos presentation, which isn't

The face off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian – a fighter who has nothing to lose. There’s a more realistic look and feel to this one as the cameras bob and weave inside the ring to give the viewer a more realistic “feel.” Warner’s 2.39:1 HEVC 4K image look stunning and when compared to its Blu-ray counterpart, makes it a no-brainer to go for the 4K version. Darkness prevails in a majority of the scenes and having never been to a boxing match, only have to go what I’ve seen from the films. Creed III, of course, is a new to the format film and takes advantage of the increased resolution and HDR that the 4K image offers. Detail, colors and contrast all looked great to me. It’s not a perfect transfer, but with a fast-moving film like this, any faults I encountered were a thing of the past soon thereafter. Audio: How’s it sound? Creed III was shot on various cameras including the Arriflex 35 IIC, RED Komodo, Red V-Raptor IMAX, and Sony CineAlta Venice IMAX in IMAX, Redcode RAW (6K, 8K), Super 35 (some shots), and X-OCN ST(6K). A 4K digital intermediate is utilized and the film is color coded with Dolby Vision HDR. Blu-ray: Optional English SDH, Canadian French, Parisian French, Latin Spanish, German, and Italian subtitles

Creed III runs out of steam for the third round but puts up a good fight on Blu-ray. This will not be the very top in reference material, but there are no serious flaws with the transfer. Its key players, including short-lived themes. Meanwhile, the usual suspects from previous entries are still here: crisp dialogue, heavy and atmospheric use of rear and side channels during At the forefront of the film we find Adonis (Michael B. Jordan) retired. He runs a gym where he trains other boxers and his wife, Bianca (Tessa Thompson), has had a shift in her career. She’s no longer a performer, but produces and writes music for other artists. Bianca and Adonis’ focus is on raising their daughter (who has a hearing impairment), Amara (Mila Davis-Kent). Adonis finds Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors) at his gym, a figure from his past, who’s fresh out of prison after 20 years. His time behind bars cut his boxing career short and he wants another shot. Adonis trains him, but Damian wants more – he wants to jump straight to the title match overlooking that it’s a process and not about the destination. Clearly there’s some tension between the two and, wouldn’t you know it, the only way to truly solve the issue is to let these two titans duke it out in the ring.Pulling double duty as a sequel and quasi-origin story for its title character, Creed III opens on a fateful LA night when young Donnie and Fast-forward to the present and we're soon caught up with Donnie and his family: he's living the high life, retired from boxing with plenty of time to intense matches, and sporadic use of the height channels for added immersion. With Creed III and Michael B. Jordan behind the camera, there were a few beginner issues, but overall, this was a breath of fresh air with some great tonal shifts in the storyline that make Creed III a good watch. The movie begins with a win for Adonis but then cuts several years into the future where Adonis has turned into his father in the way that he now wears a suit and is running his businesses rather than wearing the trunks and boxing gloves. His wife Tessa (Bianca Taylor) has enjoyed a very successful music career and their young daughter has total hearing loss, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to follow in her father's footsteps. One of the issues here is that the logistics and time don't always add up in their own narrative. Creed III suffers from the same elements where one scene to the next might fast forward months or longer without any smooth transition. Again, these are rookie mistakes, especially from someone who is playing both filmmaker and leading star duties at the same time.
