About this deal

I loved the Epilogue, it was a long hard road but they achieved they ending the deserved. Luca will always be one of my favourites, he was an unapologetic member of The Syndicate and a romantic; a definite heady combination. In Luca's case I felt he was more distracted, sometimes sloppy in navigating his feelings for Fallon and trying to control the situation on a wider scale within The Syndicate. He remained protective as ever, which I loved to see; no matter how much Fallon tried to push him away. A man in love, his passion never wavered but even notoriety and infamy couldn't protect him from the feelings of uncertainty he encounters. Well, the whole 'staying away cause of your own good' but 'can't really shake you off completely' kinda thing rubbed me off the wrong way.

I think my biggest problem was the characters. Knowing how For Fallon ended, I expected the road to a happily ever after to be difficult. I knew that Fallon would find it difficult to forgive and trust Luca again and I expected her to try and push him away. But Fallon and Luca were SO DAMN STUBBORN! It seemed like they spent more time apart or fighting then they spent with each other and if I'm honest, I was really hoping for more interaction between the the two of them. I got to the point where their stubbornness and indecision became TOO MUCH and I just didn't understand where either of them were coming from anymore. There were lots of dangerous situations, devastating decisions to make, lots of lost time and a heart-breaking situation which had me crying a lot. I loved it from the beginning till the end!As much as I want to, I can’t refrain from reaching out, so I text and call her a few times during the weekend, but not one word from Fallon. In a world where love is often misunderstood, Naomi and Seraphina's bond stands out. Their connection is so intense that it surpasses any language hurdles that may exist between them. I think I always trusted you to have my best interest, but when everything came out, my fear forced me into a certain behavior....” Even if they don't see each other anymore, Fallon still misses Luca like crazy and Luca still has to protect Fallon. But each time they happen to see each other, Luca ends like a mess, drinking too much, loosing focus and Adriano has to cover up a lot for him. Fallon used to calm him, to be his solace but now she only puts him in a deep mysery, she is his weakness, his trigger. He wants to walk away, forget her but has a hard time doing it. The story had several twists and turns and was a bit frustrating because of the couple’s mistrust of one another. Overall, this was a decent conclusion and the writing was well done and had a sweet ending.

In a world where love is often misunderstood, Nadia and Seraphina's bond stands out. Their connection is so strong that it surpasses any language barriers that may exist between them. Most of all, I really loved the epilogue, because I'm not going to lie, there were a few times times that I had my doubts about whether Cam and Adriano were going to make it. The author really kept me guessing , but then she gifted the reader with a really beautiful ending that was the perfect seal for this very fervent couple. The premise follows Adriano and Cam’s building relationship into a world of murder and mayhem. Adriano is the Capo crimine of the Chicago Syndicate, in other words the Boss! Camilla (Cam) is the daughter of the Syndicate’s former boss, and a Capo. She is to be treated in respect and be well protected.
